Although trekking to the Everest Base Camp is one of the most adventurous and the deadliest experience, the climbers don't hesitate to reach up to the base camp. The records are fantastic, although there is less supply of oxygen in height. 

If you are wondering how long does it take to climb Everest, here is the complete detail of the schedule and the time to conquer the highest peak of the world. 

The trek is the 14-day trek that starts from the capital of the city, Kathmandu. You need to take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. It is a short flight, and you don't need to worry about getting bored on the plane. However, your heart will sink a little as it is the most dangerous airport in the world. Landing at the airport could be one of the best experiences for adventure seekers around the globe.  

Then, after you arrive at Lukla, you can have some free time enjoying the local breakfast there. You should start with a big motivation as you will need high motivation to walk for the rest of the days. The first day won't be tiring, as you will be walking downhill. After the hike of about 3-5 hours, you will need to decide between the routers. Then, you can continue with lunch in the way. 

Then, for the second day, you will need some extra dose of motivation. You will be able to see the real beauty of the Himalayas of Nepal as you will up hills. The entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park and some of the famous suspension bridges could give you some memorable experiences. On the second day, too, you can experience some climbing downhill options. 

On the third day, you will reach the Namche Bazar. You can visit the Namche Museum and gain to explore it. The trek to Namche Bazar is short, and you will explore the unique cultures of Sherpa. The third day will not be very hectic as you will get enough time to rest and have lunch and dinner. 

After the third day, it starts the real trek. You will trail up from the Namche Bazar, and you might feel the lack of oxygen as you will go to the higher altitude. However, you can experience the stunning views of the mountains. Then, you will hike towards Tengboche on the fifth day. After you get off the Namche, you will have two hours of relaxed walking and then reach the valley. Then, after lunch, you will go towards the town of Tengboche with the hiking of around 2-3 hours. 

On the sixth day, you will travel to Dingboche, and the hike starts down the hill. After the down-hill, the walk towards uphill continues, and we will head towards the Pangbouche for lunch. Then, you will head towards the Imja Valley. With the trek of around 5 to 6 hours, the trek of the sixth day ends. 

After spending a night at Dingboche, the trek continues for around 3 hours. Then, with short lunchtime and the sightseeing time of some time. You will have a relaxing afternoon. Heading towards the Lobuche, you will head towards the Khumbu valley and continue to walk around the Dugla, where you will experience some lunch and rest. After the two hours trek from Dugla to Lobuche, you will have to trek for around 3 hours. 

As you trek upwards, you will travel from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, which is at the altitude of 5180m. The trek of the 9th day will take you towards the beautiful Glacier moraine.  With some up and town trails of walking around 3 hours, you will have lunch and trek for 3 hours again. Then, you will reach the base of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest. For most people. This day might be very challenging.
